The Donoughmore Commission was a British government committee that examined the Ceylonese constitution in 1927 and made recommendations for its revision. The commission's recommendations were reluctantly accepted by Ceylonese political leaders and formed the basis for the 1931 constitution. The Donoughmore Constitution was in effect from 1931 to 1947, when it was replaced by the Soulbury Constitution.
